FROST France Chain Trolleys

FROST France also assembles and lubricates the trolleys that are mounted on our chains. Available in stock in the following versions with lubrication for Normal Temperature (max 80°C) or High Temperature (max 240°C):

-2" with sheet or reinforced bearings

-3" with Full Ball (continuous ball) or Retainer (caged) bearings

-3"/4" (3" trolleys on 4" chain) with Full Ball or Retainer bearings

-4" with Full Ball or Retainer bearings4"/6" (4" trolleys on 6" chain) with Full Ball or Retainer bearings

A range of specific trolleys is also available with plastic rollers for silent chains or stainless steel for the food industry.

FROST France Curve Rollers and Various Rollers

Curve rollers are an essential component of forged chain conveyors. Therefore, our rollers meet the most stringent requirements for their manufacture. The choice of steels and the quality of assembly or lubrication make FROST rollers a reference in this field.

Our rollers are available for 2", 3", 4", and 6" Webb-type or FATA-type (for 4" and 6") conveyors.

A wide range of guide rollers or special rollers is also available.

FROST FRANCE Forged Chain

Since 1984, Frost France has been recognized as a leader in the manufacturing and supply of forged chains for conveyors.

The commitment to quality and years of experience, combined with high technical specifications, allow us to provide you with X-type forged chains that best meet your reliability requirements.

Forged chains are available in X228, X348, X458, and X678. They are consistently available in our stocks.

Two chain variants are offered:

-Standard chain with hot-forged pins (all sizes).

-FROST chain with cold-pressed pins (X348, X458, X 678).

‍

The X458 and X678 sizes are also available in a reinforced version (8642) for heavily stressed conveyors. This grade provides 50% higher tensile strength than the standard grade (1045 / 1552).

Upon request, we also manufacture machined pitch X678 chains for AIRBIDIP type conveyors, as well as X698 chains.

All our chains are available in galvanized and electro zinc-plated versions. X348 and X458 chains are available in stainless steel.

Chain accessories such as pusher links, extended pins, or special attachments are also available.

In our workshops, we assemble chains and trolleys in sections ready to be installed on your site.We can also supply chains for conveyors of brands like D8, F8, E8, 32000, or 2000.

Caterpillar Drive Chains

Available in stock in the following versions:

-2" 18 teeth on chain with a pitch of 25.4 mm

-3" 9, 12, and 20 teeth on chain with a pitch of 38.1 mm

-3" 9, 12, and 20 teeth on chain with a pitch of 50.8 mm

-4" 9, 12, 15, and 20 teeth on chain with a pitch of 50.8 mm

-6" 10 teeth on chain with a pitch of 50.8 mm:

The shoes, sprockets, and rollers for "Caterpillar" drive units

Drive and idler sprockets for chains with pitches of 25.4 / 38.1 / 50.8 mm. Boring, chamfering, and machining upon request.

Chain guide shoes in short, long, or reinforced models.

Counter guide rollers RTR 0, RTR 1, or RTR 2 depending on the group model (2'', 3'', 4'', or 6'').

All other components of "Caterpillar" drive units are also available upon request.

Toothed drive wheels for Moto-tensioner-type groups are available on order.

The carriages for twin-rail conveyors with forged chain

Essential components of twin-rail overhead conveyors, the free trolleys undergo strict manufacturing and assembly processes.

Comprised of forged or molded parts, they are equipped with the same rollers as chain trolleys. FROST France trolleys are compatible with both WEBB and CFC installations.

Trolleys for FATA forged conveyors are also available on request.

For each of these references, we offer refurbishment in our workshops or the individual components for your own renovation.

As with other components, the trolleys for Bi-rail conveyors 32000 or 2000 are available on request.

The elements of rails for overhead chain conveyors.

The true backbone of a conveyor, the rail circuit must always be in good condition.

Over time and wear, rail components may need replacement.

We manufacture for you the horizontal and vertical curves, straight rail elements to length, expansion or tensioner joints, switches, or other stop stations.

These rail elements can be installed by you or by our technicians.

The supply of drive units or tensioners can also be offered for all conveyor sizes. To receive a quote, please provide us with all the relevant information so that we can respond to you accordingly.

The After-Sales Service

Technical installation visits

Do you want to know the health status of your installation?

Our technicians will come to your site and conduct a complete check of all elements of your conveyor. A report will then be sent to you, detailing the state of the main components of your installation and specifying the degree of urgency for any necessary repairs or replacements.

Upon your request, a detailed quote for the work will be included.Optionally, this technical visit can also cover both the electrical and/or automation parts.

Mechanical and electrical refurbishment

Certain elements need replacement or transformation, and our specialist teams will intervene on-site.

We also provide services for greasing or lubricating the mechanical elements of your conveyors on-site.

Modification of mechanical and electrical installations

If your installation needs a change in layout, we take care of the study, fabrication, and installation of the necessary elements for transforming your conveyor.

Maintenance contract

Multiple control and adjustment visits for your installation are carried out each year according to a schedule defined based on upcoming workloads. We can also regularly perform greasing operations on your conveyor bearings on-site.

Modification and maintenance on conveyors

Our collaboration with the company CONVEYORS allows us to provide any maintenance or modification services on conveyors of that brand.
